About This Micro-Credential

Individuals who are deaf benefit when hearing people are qualified to work with and understand them. The American Sign Language (ASL) micro-credential recognizes this demand and prepares undergraduate students to work in a variety of fields where ASL skills are necessary.

  • ASL 110 - Beginning American Sign Language I (previously EDU 110 - ASL Level I)
  • ASL 111 - Beginning American Sign Language II (previously EDU 111 - ASL Level II)
  • ASL 201 - American Sign Language III (previously EDU 112 - ASL Level III)
