Students enrolled in this program are eligible to take up to four courses of pre-major and major coursework at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» while pursuing an associate degree at JCTC. Jefferson2Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» students pay the JCTC tuition rate to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» for the allotted four Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» courses. Students taking classes at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» through the program will also pay part-time student fees per credit hour. Some courses may also incur specific charges from the respective college. Students pay for their JCTC and Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» bills separately.
The four courses must be spread out over the span of several semesters. The number of courses a student is able to take at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» in a given semester is based on earned and in-progress hours. Students with 15 earned and in-progress hours are eligible to take their first course at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³». Once students have at least 30 earned and in-progress hours, they are eligible to take a second course at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³». After 45 earned and in-progress hours, students can take their last two courses. If a student has 45 or more earned and in progress hours but have yet to take any classes at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» through the Jefferson2Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» program, he or she would be eligible to take two courses in the first semester of the program.
Students must never exceed the maximum of two courses at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» in any given semester through the Jefferson2Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» program. Students enrolled in the Jefferson2Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» program are eligible to take courses at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» that are not offered at JCTC or online through KCTCS. While enrolled in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» courses through the program, students are not eligible to take courses at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» above and beyond the Jefferson2Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» program courses.

The pathway guides are advising tools designed to help community college students plan for transferring to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» to complete their baccalaureate degree. The pathway guides also constitute an agreement between community colleges and universities confirming that community college courses meet major preparation requirements.
The Jefferson2Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Program has a simple application. Please read the instructions on applying first. If you are not yet enrolled at Jefferson, apply for admission to Jefferson and enroll in an Associate degree plan.
Once you are admitted to Jefferson, just fill out the . Note: You will need to maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA throughout the program.
When the time comes for you to transfer to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» from Jefferson, there are a few steps that need to be completed. Please use this checklist to ensure all steps are completed in order to facilitate a smooth transfer.
